Purchasing a Domain

Description: In this video, you'll learn how to buy a new domain name from GoDaddy. While there are numerous other companies from which to purchase your domain, GoDaddy is a simple and well-known option that will also allow you to grant us access to set up your new domain.

1. Navigate to godaddy.com
2. Enter your ideal domain name in the search field
3. Click Search Domain
4. Scroll down to see the exact match or recommended alternative domain names
5. Click Get It if there is an exact match, or select the Cart icon next to the alternative name of your choosing
6. Select the number of years you would like to keep the domain
   • You can set up auto-renew after purchase and keep the domain for an indefinite period of time
7. Click Looks Good, Keep Going to continue the purchase process
   • There is no need to select full domain protection, we cover the google security for you
8. You should not need to select any of the additional options
   • You may want to add an email for your domain as you will need a domain associated email for use in our CRM, however this email can be associated with a different domain that you own
9. Click Continue To Cart
10. Click I Am Ready To Pay
11. Create a GoDaddy Account or log into an existing account
12. Fill out your billing information
13. Click Review Order and complete your purchase
14. GoDaddy will send you an email to verify your address and complete the process
