Creating a Custom Drip Tag in CloseHack CRM
Drip Tags are automated sequences of emails, text messages, and tasks that help you consistently follow up with leads and clients — saving you time and boosting engagement. This guide walks you through creating your own Drip Tag from scratch.
Step 1: Log In

Visit your CloseHack website.

Click Login in the top-right corner.

Once logged in, click Dashboard to access the backend.
Step 2: Navigate to Drip Tags

In the left-hand menu, click Flux CRM → Drip Tags.

You’ll see default Drip Tags and any group/shared tags.

To create a new one, click ➕ Create at the top.
Step 3: Set Up Basic Drip Tag Info

Name: Give it a clear, descriptive name (e.g., Open House Follow-Up).

Visibility:
-
Agents – visible to all agents (default).
-
Admin Only – private to admin users.
-

Description: (Optional) Add a description for clarity.
-
Status: Ensure Active is selected.
Auto-Pause Rules (Highly Recommended)
Enable drip to auto-pause if:

A client interacts (calls, texts, shows).
-
Their status or role changes. This ensures you don’t send outdated or irrelevant messages.
Send Behavior Settings

Test Mode: Turn on and choose to send test messages to yourself.

BCC on All Messages: Leave this unchecked to avoid flooding your inbox.

Click Create to save these settings.
Step 4: (Optional) Auto-Start Settings
You can auto-start a drip based on:

Client status (e.g., Closed).
-
Client role (e.g., Buyer).
Example:
Automatically send a testimonial request email once a client is marked as “Closed.”
Skip this step if you want to start drips manually.
Step 5: Add Your First Drip

Click Create Drip or the ➕ Add button.

Choose your Drip Type:

Step 6: Create a Task

Click ➕ Add again.

Set Drip Type to Create Task.

Add a title and description (e.g., Call client to follow up after open house).

Set a delay (e.g., 2 days after previous message).

Click Create Drip.
This task will appear on your Dashboard > Tasks on the set date.
Step 7: Use Conditional (Decision-Based) Logic

Click ➕ Add, choose Decision.

Select your condition (e.g., Has the client visited the website in the last 5 days?).

Set the YES and NO paths with different:

Texts

Add a delay before this decision point (e.g., 2 days after previous message/task).
Step 8: Organize & Finalize Your Drip

You can drag-and-drop drips to reorder them.

Click the pencil icon to edit or trash icon to delete.

Review delays to ensure correct timing.

Click into any drip to confirm settings or update text.
Step 9: Assign Your Drip Tag
To apply your Drip Tag to a client or group:

Go to CRM > Clients.

Select individuals or click Select All.
-
Click Actions → Assign Drip Tag.

Choose your Drip Tag (e.g., Open House Follow-Up).
